Hello, I’m Karee Russell, a passionate mother of three wonderful kids – a spirited 3-year-old boy and two amazing daughters aged 10 and 11. My journey as a mom has been an incredible adventure, and I’m so grateful to share it with my best friend and loving husband of over 13 years. We’re a military family, which means home is where the Army sends us, but my heart belongs to my beautiful home state of Colorado. One day, we hope to settle down there and put down our roots.
Professionally, I’m a dedicated Human Resources Officer with over a decade of experience in the field. I’ve worked diligently in various roles, helping organizations navigate the complexities of HR. It’s a field that I’m not only passionate about but also deeply committed to, as it allows me to use my skills to support both my family and others.
Outside of my career, I’m a lover of life’s simple pleasures. I have a penchant for shopping, a passion for travel, and an eye for capturing memorable moments through photography. As a bookworm, I find solace in the worlds of fantasy and mystery novels, where I can escape into captivating stories.
One of our family’s biggest goals is to explore the world together. We’re on a mission to reach all continents and create a rich tapestry of experiences for our children. Traveling is not just a hobby; it’s an opportunity for us to bond, learn, and grow as a family. As a result, I’ve honed the art of traveling on a budget with kids, and I’m excited to share these insights with you.
